Privacy Policy

Glo & Say for iPhone. Effective October 23, 2026.

Glo & Say is published by Apexis Solutions Inc., doing business as Small Bricktory.

Summary

Glo & Say has no account, no ads, no analytics, no tracking and no third-party SDKs. Learning progress stays on the device, or in the learner's own iCloud when the learner turns that on. One optional feature, "Report this card", sends a report to the developer.

Learning progress

Words learned, review schedule, streaks and badges are stored on the iPhone. When "Keep progress in iCloud" is on in Settings, the app also syncs them through the learner's private iCloud database (CloudKit) to the learner's other devices. The developer cannot read the private database. The switch can be turned off at any time.

Report this card

A learner can tap "Report this card" on a lesson card that looks wrong. The report holds:

The report is saved to the app's CloudKit public database, where the developer reads it. The developer uses reports only to fix content. Reports carry no name, email address or account, and are not linked to the learner's identity. The learner chooses whether to send each report.
